Rhagodia spinescens – Creeping Saltbush
Description:
A hardy Australian native shrub with dense, spreading growth and attractive grey-green to silvery foliage, often developing small red to purple berries after flowering. Highly adapted to dry and coastal conditions, it provides valuable shelter and food for wildlife while offering excellent cover and habitat for small birds and insects. Its dense form and tolerance of difficult soils make it well suited to screening, windbreaks, revegetation, erosion control, and low-maintenance native landscaping. The foliage can also provide supplementary browse for livestock.
