A hardy Australian and New Zealand native shrub or small tree with fine aromatic foliage and masses of white to pink flowers that cover the branches in spring and summer. The blooms are highly attractive to bees and are famous for producing sought-after Manuka honey. Dense, resilient, and ornamental, it is widely used for screening, habitat planting, and coastal or native gardens.
