Brachychiton Populneus - Kurrajong

Drought hardy Australian native with a broad dense canopy - common shade tree, street tree and landscaping tree. It's also known as a good source of drought fodder for livestock as it's leaves and branches have high nutritional quality. Seeds are also edible to humans.

Kurrajong is best grown in full sun and on moderate to deep sandy well-drained loams.
