Description:
A bold Western Australian native tree with deeply serrated, leathery green leaves and large, robust flower spikes that are creamy-yellow in colour. It develops thick, often roughened bark with age and produces massive woody seed cones that persist on the branches for many years. Strong and architectural in form, it is a striking feature tree in native and dryland landscapes.
