Description:
A vigorous Australian native shrub with attractive silvery-grey foliage and a dense spreading habit. Naturally found along inland waterways and floodplains, it is highly valued for its tolerance to salinity, drought, and difficult soils. River Saltbush is an important fodder shrub for sheep and cattle, producing palatable, mineral-rich foliage that provides valuable green feed during dry periods. It is particularly useful in grazing systems on saline or degraded land, where conventional pasture species struggle to survive.
