Acacia saligna is a fast-growing, small to medium-sized tree or large shrub, native to Western Australia. Its called Cujong in the Nyungar language. It's often planted for erosion control, windbreaks, and ornamental purposes due to its hardiness and striking golden flowers.

Acacia saligna is recognized for its potential as a fodder source, particularly in arid and semi-arid regions. Its adaptability to harsh conditions and ability to produce substantial biomass make it a valuable resource for livestock feeding. There can be high variability of palatability between populations.
