Description:
A graceful Australian native tree with a tall, slender form and attractive dark green, fern-like foliage. Its bipinnate leaves give it a soft, feathery appearance similar to some rainforest species. In late winter to spring it produces pale yellow, fluffy flower clusters that attract bees and other pollinators. It is a fast-growing tree that performs well as a shade tree or in mixed native plantings. Although it is native to the subtropics it performs very well on the Surf coast of Victoria.
